Adam Scott-led "The Whisper Man" was Netflix’s most-watched movie last week, growing its viewership to 33.4 million views. While it debuted to 23.2 million views, the serial killer thriller expanded to reach the top spot during the week of August 31.
Last week, "The Whisper Man" placed second behind a first look at Grand Theft Auto VI, which garnered 31.1 million views on Netflix from its August 27 debut through August 31. However, this week, the film soared ahead of "Turning Point: Generation 9/11," "The Hard Corps", and the extended look at GTA VI, which scored 4.4 million views in its second week.
