'A Man on the Inside' Ending With Season 3 on Netflix
'A Man on the Inside' will conclude with its third season on Netflix.
Rick Porter from The Hollywood Reporter shared the news, stating that the comedy series, led by Ted Danson, will wrap up its run after this final season.
The third season is currently in production in San Francisco and will follow Charles (Danson) as he takes on a new case, investigating the sabotage of a prominent philanthropist's work in the city.
Michael Schur, the series creator and showrunner, expressed his excitement:
"This series began with a retiree taking a chance at a new life. By answering a help wanted ad and venturing out into the world, Charles Nieuwendyk made his world bigger... We are thrilled to be able to conclude his journey with one final chapter..."
Viewing numbers for the series dipped in season two, making the announcement of a third and final season a likely outcome.
Returning cast members include Ted Danson, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, Stephanie Beatriz, Eugene Cordero, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Sally Struthers, and Mary Steenburgen. Eight new actors will also join the cast.
Bernadette Peters will play Coco Van Beck, the queen of San Francisco society, who enlists private detective Julie (Estrada) and Charles on the case.
