Crew Girl is Netflix's latest Canadian coming-of-age sports teen drama, introducing rowing to their romance library. It follows Teagan Tao (Miku Martineau), a talented female rower who relocates to the US East Coast with her mother and enrolls at Easton Prep School. There, she joins a chaotic boys' rowing team led by arrogant captain Josh Regis (Samuel Braun).

Miku Martineau as Teagan Tao: The Canadian actress and singer plays the 16-year-old lead, Teagan. Relocating to Easton Prep due to her father's alleged financial crimes, she becomes the coxswain of the boys' team after learning there’s no girls' crew.
Miku Martineau is known for roles in Kate, Bet, and Star Trek: Section 31.
Samuel Braun as Josh Regis: As the wealthy legacy student and captain of Easton Prep's boys' team, Josh is initially suspicious of Teagan’s arrival. The Canadian actor appeared in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters and Superman & Lois, among others.
Kyle Clark as Cam Dillinger: A humble local attending Easton Prep on a rowing scholarship, Cam’s working-class background contrasts with Josh's privileged upbringing, setting up an intriguing love triangle with Teagan. Clark is also known for his role as a young Forsythe Jones in Riverdale.
