Break out the oars! After a stellar performance in the global top 10s, 'Crew Girl' has been given the green light for a second season. This comes as no surprise, considering its impressive numbers:
- In its second week, the series surged to #2 on the Global Top 10 English TV list with 11.3 million views—more than doubling its week-one viewership.
- Since launching, 'Crew Girl' has charted in over 90 countries and amassed over 16 million views worldwide.
"I am beyond excited for Crew Girl Season 2!" exclaimed Martineau. "There’s so much left to explore... it’s going to be a packed, juicy, drama-filled second season."
What to expect from 'Crew Girl' Season 2:
The coming-of-age series follows Teagan Tao (Martineau), a teenage rowing prodigy who relocates after a family scandal. She takes on the challenge of coxswaining a boat of hyper-competitive prep school boys to keep her Olympic dreams alive.
As previewed earlier this month, Season 1 left many loose ends to tie up: Josh's recovery from heart surgery, Teagan and Cam's rekindled relationship, and Britney's launch of Easton Prep's first-ever girls' rowing team.
Showrunner Vivian Lin previously shared her long-term vision for the series, suggesting it has the potential to run for a long time due to the enduring nature of rowing.
