Horror Game Based on The Conjuring Coming Soon to Netflix

Netflix is diving into the interactive horror genre with The Conjuring: Unspoken, developed by Supermassive Games, creators of Until Dawn, Little Nightmares, and The Dark Pictures anthology.

Interactive Paranormal Investigation

Based on the popular film franchise inspired by the true-life investigations of Ed and Lorraine Warren, The Conjuring: Unspoken is an interactive game where you play as a demonologist navigating a haunted English inn.

Key Features:

  • Make choices and engage in dialogue to shape your investigation.
  • Utilize tools like an electromagnetic field reader and infrared camera to uncover paranormal activity.
  • Capture spirits with a spirit box.

Release Details

The Conjuring: Unspoken arrives on October 13 exclusively on Netflix. It requires a Netflix subscription, a TV (or PC), and a smartphone or tablet for navigation.

While currently a Netflix exclusive, there's no word on a potential standalone PC release.

Netflix's focus on interactive gaming aligns with Alain Tascan's statement that "console gaming is an older model," emphasizing the appeal of interacting directly with screens.
