Michael Che Sets Third Netflix Special ‘Shot in Minnesota’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Just a couple weeks after his return to Saturday Night Live, Michael Che is back with another stand-up special.
“Shot in Minnesota,” his third hour for Netflix, premieres October 13.
Che directed the special, filmed at First Avenue in Minneapolis, and executive produces with Matthew Vaughan for Rotten Science.
In a clip, Che jokes about his SNL compatriot Colin Jost and his movie star wife, Scarlett Johansson:
"You know what really bothers me about Colin being married to Scarlett Johansson? It’s that he acts like it’s normal. Isn’t that fucking annoying?...I thought I heard her jingling in the Uber."
"Shot in Minnesota" follows Che's previous specials, "Michael Che Matters" (2016) and "Michael Che: Shame the Devil" (2021). While best known for SNL, Che also created the sketch comedy series "That Damn Michael Che" on HBO Max. Prior to SNL, he was a correspondent on The Daily Show.
