Netflix's Dan Brown TV Adaptation of 'The Secret of Secrets' Begins Production; First Look
Netflix has started production on its highly anticipated TV series adaptation of Dan Brown's novel The Secret of Secrets, featuring Morgan Spector as Robert Langdon. The series, currently untitled, blends futuristic science with mystical lore, and promises heart-pounding suspense and international intrigue.
Cast Announcements
In addition to Spector, the regular cast includes:
- Rebecca Hall as Katherine Solomon
- Cherry Jones as Heide Nagel
- Corey Stoll as Everett Finch
- Rob Delaney as Jonas Faukman
- Abbey Lee as Sasha Vesna
Earlier this month, Mamadou Athie and Ben Levi Ross were also cast, with Anamaria Marinca, Richard Sammel, and Elena Saurel joining them.
Plot Overview
Brown's novel follows symbologist Robert Langdon, who races against time to rescue a missing scientist and her groundbreaking manuscript. The manuscript's discoveries threaten to change humanity's understanding of the mind and unleash ancient forces.
Production and Team
The series adaptation is executive produced by Carlton Cuse and Brown, with Cuse serving as writer and showrunner. Emma Forman of Cuse's Genre-Arts also executive produces the project, which landed at Netflix with a straight-to-series order in May 2025.
