Netflix Brings Together Mindy Kaling's Comedy Trilogy with 'Sex Lives of College Girls' Deal
Netflix has brought together part 1 and 2 of Mindy Kaling's trilogy, Never Have I Ever and Sex Lives of College Girls, with the former now available for streaming on the platform. All three seasons of Sex Lives of College Girls are also released, as part of a licensing deal between Netflix and Warner Bros. Television, the show's producer.
The trilogy, loosely based on Kaling's life, is completed by a third series, Not Suitable For Work, which was canceled by Hulu after one season. This series, also produced by Warner Bros. Television, follows work-obsessed twenty-somethings in New York, drawing from Kaling's own early 20s in the city.
As Sex Lives of College Girls joins Never Have I Ever on Netflix, the strong connection between the shows could suggest a future grouping together, which previously seemed unlikely.
