Netflix Hikes UK Prices: Cheapest Plan Jumps a Third
Netflix has increased its prices in the UK, with the cheapest monthly plan rising by a third. The changes bring Netflix's ad-supported and premium tier pricing closer together.
Effective from September 3rd, the updates are:
- Standard with Ads: £7.99 ($10.81), a 33.4% increase from £5.99 ($8.10)
- Standard: £13.99, a 7.7% rise from £12.99
- Premium: £20.99, a 10.5% increase from £18.99
These prices apply to new and existing subscribers, with Netflix boasting over 18 million UK customers.
