By Annie Martin
Rob Lowe has revealed a documentary about his life is in production at Netflix. The actor, known for his role in the "Brat Pack" films, made the announcement during Sunday's episode of Watch What Happens Live.
Lowe, who rose to fame in the 1980s, said the documentary was a three-year project. He shared, "I think it will be out around Thanksgiving." While he had input, Lowe added that the final cut is in the hands of the production team. "I've seen cuts of it... but at the end of the day, you don't want to do your own thing."
The documentary promises an intimate look at Lowe's life, including his time in The West Wing, Brothers & Sisters, Parks and Recreation, and 9-1-1: Lone Star. His fellow "Brat Pack" member Charlie Sheen's documentary, AKA Charlie Sheen, was released on Netflix in 2025.
