A Saturday Morning Adventure
Set between seasons 2 and 3 of Stranger Things, the spin-off takes viewers on an eight-episode journey where Eleven, Mike, Will, and their friends battle monsters in a classic Saturday morning cartoon style.
New Voices, Same Heroes
While many original series characters return for Tales From '85, the cast has undergone a change with different voice actors bringing new interpretations to familiar roles. Brooklyn Davey Norstedt, the new voice of Eleven, shares her approach to portraying the character:
"I didn't want to do a complete imitation of Millie [Bobby Brown]'s performance... It was definitely an interesting balance... I felt like I was really able to connect to her."
Capturing Youthfulness
Showrunner Eric Robles explains that the decision to revamp the cast was driven by ensuring the voices sounded authentically youthful. With the characters' ages and maturity in mind, they wanted to capture the spontaneous words and sentences that define their youth.
