The horror franchise The Conjuring is expanding to a new medium with the upcoming video game, The Conjuring: Unspoken. Netflix has announced that this title will be released on the streaming platform in October.
Summary
Here's a rundown of the story:
Netflix's latest addition to the Conjuring universe is a video game titled The Conjuring: Unspoken, set to release on Netflix Games for Android and iOS devices in October. The game offers a cinematic experience, where players scan for paranormal signals and investigate eerie events at the Red Lion Inn, where a grieving family is being troubled by supernatural forces.
While this marks the first dedicated Conjuring video game, there was previously a Fortnite map inspired by The Conjuring: Last Rites, providing a first-person perspective of the iconic franchise's spooky settings and entities. With limited information available, it remains to be seen how Unspoken will fit into the series' timeline and what gameplay mechanics it will offer.
