If you recently finished binge-watching the supersized second season of FOX's hit medical drama Doc on Netflix, you're likely wondering when Dr. Amy Larsen will return. The good news is it's already available to stream; the bad news is not on Netflix. Season 2 landed in the Netflix US library on September 22nd, 2026, perfectly timed with its premiere on linear television.
What to Expect from Doc Season 3: Cast Shakeups and New Secrets
Led by Molly Parker (House of Cards, Lost in Space), Doc is an American adaptation of the acclaimed Italian format Doc – Nelle tue mani. The series follows Dr. Amy Larsen, a physician dealing with the aftermath of a traumatic brain injury that erased eight years of her memories.
Prepare for an emotional rollercoaster as Season 3 introduces new twists and turns. Firstly, there's a significant casting change at Westside Hospital: Felicity Huffman will not return as series regular Dr. Joan Ridley following her heroic demise in the previous season finale. Charlotte Fountain-Jardim also steps back from her role as Katie, who heads off to college, though showrunner Hank Steinberg has hinted she'll make guest appearances.
