Look out, Love Is Blind, a new dating series is heading to Netflix!

On September 2, Netflix announced a new series titled Playing with Matches (working title), which the streamer is calling “the ultimate game of romantic deception.” This new series is set to join Temptation Island, Million Dollar Secret, Age of Attraction, Love Is Blind, and more unscripted series on the streamer. For anyone who specifically loves the Big Brother twin twist, this one is for you!

What is Playing with Matches about?

The upcoming Netflix series Playing with Matches is set to follow “a group of undercover couples from all walks of life [who] will compete in the ultimate game of romantic deception.” With a goal of hiding their own relationship from the rest, these couples will fight to expose each other’s secrets.

According to Deadline, which originally announced the upcoming series, “The couples, living together in a house, Big Brother-style, must try and figure out who is in a relationship, while keeping their own romantic entanglements secret in order to win.”

When will Playing with Matches premiere?

Right now, there is no set premiere date for Playing with Matches. However, the production team has revealed that the series is set to premiere in 2027.
