Love at First Sight: Netflix announces a brand-new reality TV series. The show, Love at First Sight, will be an unscripted series built around relationships, testing whether a first meeting can lead to a lasting relationship. Singles will meet and see if an immediate spark develops into love. Netflix has begun casting for the series, produced by Velvet Hammer Media.

The Concept

Love at First Sight focuses on individuals who believe they can recognize a potential partner instantly. Instead of taking time to build connections, the series emphasizes immediate attraction as the foundation for dating.

Netflix is seeking people who feel strongly about their ability to identify someone special with just one look. As per Deadline, the casting call reads:

“Do you believe you could see someone and know instantly that they’re the one? What if one look could lead to a lifetime? Can love really begin at first sight?”

Production and Cast

The series is executive produced by Jen O’Connell and Rebecca Quinn of Velvet Hammer Media, who are also working with Netflix on other unscripted projects. The company’s credits include The Big Bakeover, Empty Nest Refresh, and Best Bite Wins.

Love at First Sight adds to Netflix’s growing reality lineup, alongside popular shows like Love Is Blind, Temptation Island, and Million Dollar Secret.

Upcoming Release

Currently, there is no confirmed premiere date for Love at First Sight. Netflix has only announced the project and its casting phase. Stay tuned for more updates.
