Netflix at the 2026 Emmy Awards: Every Win So Far and Predictions Ahead of Tonight

It may be a down year for Netflix’s Emmy chances according to last-minute predictions ahead of the big night. Based on the latest Gold Derby odds, experts predict that Netflix’s strongest chances for primetime wins tonight lie in the Limited Series/TV Movie acting categories.

The second season of Beef is leading the charge, with Oscar Isaac heavily favored to win Movie/Limited Actor (76.01% odds) and Carey Mulligan tipped to take home Movie/Limited Actress (53.97%). Netflix also holds second place in the Actor race with Matthew Rhys for The Beast in Me (19.00%), while Sally Field (Remarkably Bright Creatures, 9.98%) and Claire Danes (The Beast in Me, 0.75%) both land in the top five for the Actress prize.

Though Beef is currently the runner-up for the overall Limited Series award (18.39%) behind HBO’s DTF St. Louis, Netflix’s other major standout is The Diplomat in the Drama categories. Keri Russell sits in a respectable second place for Drama Actress (12.43%) behind Rhea Seehorn (Pluribus), and Allison Janney holds fourth for Drama Supporting Actress (1.58%).

While rival networks like Apple TV+ and HBO/Max dominate the top Comedy and Drama series spots, experts believe Netflix is incredibly well-positioned to walk away with major acting trophies for its limited series, which lines up with the broader Netflix lineup being increasingly reliant on limited series over returning scripted dramas.

Ever since House of Cards shattered the streaming ceiling in 2013, Netflix has been an unstoppable force at the Television Academy. From historic sweeps (The Crown) to groundbreaking international wins (Squid Game), Netflix’s trophy cabinet is absolutely packed.

Here is the complete year-by-year breakdown of every Emmy Netflix has won so far from the creative Emmys on September 6th and a look back at prior years.
