From next month, the doctor is officially in — as Netflix brings the latest season of St. Denis Medical to its U.S. library next month.
The medical mockumentary series debuted its pilot episode on NBC in November 2024, and was recently renewed for a third season, set to premiere on the Network on November 2. All 18 episodes of Season 1 arrived on the world's largest streaming service in its entirety on April 1 this year, thanks to a licensing deal between NBC and Netflix.
St. Denis Medical is one of several licensed NBC shows on Netflix U.S., along with Happy's Place, Night Court, and La Brea. Several NBC titles, including St. Denis Medical and Reba McEntire's Happy's Place, made their streaming debut on Peacock, the streaming service owned by NBCUniversal, before they arrived on Netflix at a later date.
According to a report by What's on Netflix, the second season of the series is expected to hit Netflix on November 3. Just like Season 1, Season 2 is expected to arrive on the streaming service in its entirety, following the season finale that aired on NBC back in April this year.
St. Denis Medical is described as "about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity" (per Variety).
The medical dramedy stars an ensemble cast that includes Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids, The Goldbergs), Allison Tolman (Why Women Kill, Fargo), Josh Lawson (Superstore, Mortal Kombat), Kahyun Kim (Cocaine Bear, American Gods), Mekki Leeper (The Sex Lives of College Girls, Jury Duty), David Alan Grier (In Living Color, A Series of Unfortunate Events), and Kaliko Kauahi (Superstore, Parks and Recreation).
St. Denis Medical Season 2 arrives on Netflix U.S. on November 3, 2026. International territories may vary.
