Netflix Unveils U.S. Market Rollout for La Bola Negra

Netflix's Cannes Film Festival winner La Bola Negra will begin its platform release on October 16, with screenings at select theaters across the U.S. and Canada. The film, directed by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo, will open at AMC Century City and AMC Burbank in Los Angeles, and at the Angelika Film Center (35mm) and The Paris Theater (35mm) in New York.
La Bola Negra is a bold narrative that spans nearly a century of Spanish history, intertwining the lives of three generations of men through desire, pain, and love.
In the following weeks, the film will expand to top DMAs in the U.S. and Canada, culminating with a wider release on November 6.

Director Q&As
Calvo and Ambrossi, along with members of the cast, will participate in in-theater Q&A sessions in Los Angeles and New York. They previously won the Best Director Award at Cannes in May. The film also received a rapturous reception at the Telluride Film Festival, where it held its North American premiere, and will next screen at TIFF.
