Netflix's 'Wednesday' Season 3 Wraps Production
Netflix's hit series Wednesday has completed filming its third season, but fans will have to wait a while longer for the new episodes.
Wednesday, starring Jenna Ortega as the titular character, has become a supernatural sensation for the streaming giant. The show's first season, released in 2022, and second season, which dropped in 2025, both achieved remarkable success, with the latter becoming Netflix's most-watched English-language original series.
Despite the exciting news of production wrapping, there's a long post-production process ahead, which could mean a delay of several months before the third season premieres. The second season took approximately eight months to post-produce after filming concluded, suggesting a return date in the fall of next year is feasible.
Netflix has remained tight-lipped about further details regarding the show, but the cast for season three is impressive, including Eva Green, Billie Piper, Winona Ryder, and Lena Headey.
Wednesday has already made its mark, solidifying its place as one of Netflix's most successful original series.
