Filming is underway for Netflix’s upcoming series, currently titled Zoltar, and we have some brand new glimpses of the cast in action.
As previously reported, Netflix revealed their UK slate at the Edinburgh TV Festival, confirming the project. Now, additional behind-the-scenes photos have surfaced, showcasing an ensemble cast hard at work in the North of England.
The series is likely to be an anthology, with each season focusing on different stories from Roald Dahl’s works. We can expect a modern twist on Tales of the Unexpected.
Here’s what we know so far:
- Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton, Derry Girls) plays Mary Malony in Lamb to the Slaughter, based on the short story.
- Filming locations include Station Square in Saltburn, transforming into a "faded seaside town".
- Naomi Scott (Aladdin, Anatomy of a Scandal) films an action sequence in a green and orange padded jacket.
- Toby Jones (The Pale Blue Eye, Detectorists) enjoys a banana break between takes.
- Carmen Ejogo (True Detective, Your Honor) was also spotted on set.
