Rob Lowe Accidentally Announces Netflix Documentary on His Life
Rob Lowe spilled details about an upcoming Netflix documentary chronicling his career and life during a recent appearance on Barstool Sports' Chicks in the Office podcast. He revealed that the streaming platform will release the documentary on November 24, although it hasn't been officially announced yet.
"It hasn't been officially announced, but I believe November 24th Netflix is going to release a documentary on my life," Lowe said.
The actor teased that the doc will include never-before-seen archival footage from his career, such as his original audition for The Outsiders, behind-the-scenes clips from classic films, and even baby footage of him appearing on talk shows. It will also explore his time in the Brat Pack, the days before cell phones and social media, and his 36 years of sobriety.
This announcement comes as Lowe already has a strong presence on Netflix. He stars alongside his son, John Owen Lowe, in the comedy Unstable, and he narrated the 2024 documentary Inside the Mind of a Dog.
