This is Garg's third stand-up special overall, and her first for Netflix. Her previous specials include "Zarna Garg: One in a Billion" on Amazon Prime Video and "Zarna Garg: Practical People Win" on Hulu. She is currently on tour titled "Million Dollar Excuses" and has opened for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
Garg's scripted credits include the 2025 rom-com "A Nice Indian Boy" and an episode of Mindy Kaling's Hulu series "Not Suitable for Work." She has also developed shows with Kaling and Kevin Hart. Up next, she'll appear in Amazon MGM's holiday comedy "Clashing Through the Snow."
Garg is also the author of the New York Times bestselling memoir "This American Woman" and hosts the "Zarna Garg Family Podcast."
"No one expected a short, chubby, brown woman to sell out iconic venues around the world—and much to her own chagrin, become a feminist icon. It’s a milestone on the way to the tombstone," said Garg.
